voila!
solution for your freezer
surely the popcorn doesn't need freezer space

also anything in the freezer that has already been cooked   can be re-frozen if it thaws

Popcorn --- somehow last night at Walmart the checker and I started talking about popcorn.   She said that for years and years she's cooked her regular (not  commercial microwave stuff) popcorn in a brown paper bag!!  She just dumps the kernels in the bag with about 1 tablespoon of oil and 'nukes it til it quits popping.  No dirty pan - the range is not hot - it's fast and easy.
I asked where she got brown paper bags ...... she roared laughing and said that she did not drink but always went to a near-by liquor store and asked for a bag.  They always gave her one with a smile.

most stores sell pckgs of the "lunch"bags we used to carry to school
i always have some for a lot of uses (breading for one)
i just bought a pack of 50 for a dollar (on sale) at my heb grocery
they're with the rest of the paper goods
ought to make enough popcorn for one
i had to give up popcorn a couple yrs back      because i choked on an unpopped kernal when i was alone
and really thought i might die but i really do miss it

Hi Nellie ... I have piles of the brown lunch bags and the white ones which I use for all sorts of projects with the kids.  (I also have the super nice ones with handles but  they are $$ and saved for special things)
I just never thought about using them -- thought they were too small -- but you're right -- they're the perfect size for just me.  And the big brown bags from some stores are just too big.
