VBB has a mini-muffin recipe that is lower calorie. If I remember correctly you can eat 3 for 100 calories.

I use a really good banana muffin recipe, substituting some whole wheat flour for white.  With most muffin recipes you can get away with using less sugar and oil that the recipe says.  I'll see if I can dig up the banana recipe

Here's the banana muffin recipe.  It is good when you have that one last banana trying to go over the hill.  Not enough to make banana bread but way too ripe to eat.

2 cups flour  1/2 cup sugar (I use1/4 cup)  2 t. baking powder,  1/2 t salt,  1/4 t. cinnamon or nutmeg   ( I always use more)  1 mashed banana,  1/2 cup milk,  1/3 cup oil ( I use less),  1 egg, slightly beaten.  Oven at 375 and bake for 15 to 20 minutes

I have substituted other stuff for the banana, like mashed pear , peaches or other fruit.  This is my basic muffin recipe and I make it so much I don't even look at the recipe anymore.  I did look at it to send to you guys.

Thinking about the banana muffin recipe I didn't remember putting in 1/2 t. soda.  I just looked at what I had typed and sure enough, it wasn't there.  I always put it in when making them even though I don't have the recipe in front of me.
