In Response to Re: Mac and Cheese:
Here is my favorite Mac. & Chs. Recipe Double Cheese Macaroni and Cheese 8 OZ. ELBOW MACARONI, UNCOOKED 2 CUPS OF MOZZ. 2 CUPS CHEDDAR OR A CHEDDAR BLEND 1/4 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE 1/4 CUP ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR 2 CUPS MILK 1/2 TSP. SALT 1/8 TSP. PEPPER 1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS 2 TBSP. MELTED BUTTER 1.  COOK MACARONI ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS; DRAIN 2.  ALTERNATE LAYERS OF MACARONI AND CHEESES IN GREASED 2 QUART BAKING DISH, BEGINNING WITH MACARONI AND ENDING WITH CHEESE. 2.  MELT THE 1/4 CUP BUTTER IN SAUCE PAN; STIR IN FLOUR TO MAKE A SMOOTH MIXTURE.  BLEND IN MILK GRADUALLY.  HEAT TO BOIL, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. 4.  COOK UNTIL SAUCE HAS THICKENED, ADD SALT AND PEPPER 5.  POUR SAUCE OVER MACARONI AND CHEESE. 6.  MIX BREAD CRUMBS, IF USED, WITH MELTED BUTTER.  SPRINKLE BUTTER OR MIXTURE OVER MACARONI AND CHEESE. 7.  CASSEROLE MAY BE COVERED AND REFRIGERATED AT THIS POINT IF DESIRED. 8.  BAKE AT 375* FOR 30 - 35 MIN.  IF REFRIGERATED, INCREASE BAKING TIME BY 10 MIN. Enjoy!  Sometimes I sprinkle grated Parm. cheese when I do the layering.  But I am a cheese lover!!

I love mac & cheese too.  Sometimes I put imitation crab in it.  Always a big surprise if you are not expecting it.  But oh, so good!

I make it from scratch and put uncooked macaroni in glass baking dish, cover with milk and cheese, bake, stir it just before it completely turns brown and finish baking.
