Well DUH ..... when I see a recipe I want I always copy and paste it to send me. So it occured to me to simply look in my Sent file. There is was
PEANUT BUTTER CANDY CHEATERS which is right on here. It's a Nestles recipe.....................

And while I was surfing around looking for it I stumbled on "My baking addiction" ...... wow, oh wow.
Cookie recipes for Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies, Turtle Cookies, Rolo Chocolate Chip Cookies, Mocha Shortbread with Nutella,

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, Rolo Dream bars ....... and on and on and on.

Hi Verdee -- That's what I have - a laptop and it sets on a folding card table a few feet (feet, not yards) away from my kitchen .... there's sure no room for it in my kitchen when I'm baking - lol.
I have everything printed and 'scotch' taped inside cabinet doors. When I'm baking a certain recipe I put it on the outside of the cabinet door. The great recipes get a big red star.

And (sometimes I hate "ands") I ordered that living room furniture -- I'm taking a deep, scared breath and having my basement finished so I can try to carve wood. I need a new computer (and it will always be a lap top) - this is nice but OLD. I am terrified of a major crash and losing everything.

What will you all do if you lose all your recipes?

What to do if you have a major crash on your computer? Back up your computer and get an external backup drive. Now I have to learn how to use it, but I am getting an external backup drive for both my desk top and lap top computers. And, I'm now using my Internet providers web mail for my e-mail, then I can get to my e-mail on any computer AND I won't lose it like has happened to me too many times on my desk top computer.

Hi Jean --- thank you for your help. I have an external back-up drive. It's setting right here - right beside my little lap top. I can't find a place to plug it into the computer

And, funniest thing, a couple weeks ago when I hired a good name computer repairman to come here to get my new printer working and
straighten out my computer, he couldn 't find a place on this machine either.

Yes, I too back up my computer on an external hard drive, once each week. I also am undertaking a multi-year process of adding my favorite recipes on a software site I purchased access to several years ago. These recipes are always available online and serve as my backup.
