Looking for a cookie recipe.

I was at a gathering a while back and one lady brought cookies made with Grape Nuts Cereal.  I asked for the recipe and she said she would send it to me and never did.  I have asked others at the gathering if they would send me the recipe but no one has it.
So to make a long story short I am in search of a cookie recipe using Grape Nuts cereal.  It was a pretty chewy cookie.  I am pretty sure it had pecans and dried cranberries in it.
I suppose I could make an oatmeal cookie and use Grape Nuts in place of the oatmeal but I sure would like the real recipe.
If anyone has heard of this cookie or has the recipe I would love to get it.
Thanks, I know I will get a response you all are wonderful and I know someone has just what I am in search of.

Nikki,
I have a cookie recipe from the box, but it did not call for nuts (dried cranberries & oats). If you would like the recipe, let me know & I will post it.

I have a friend that gave me my cookie recipes because she owned the bakery.

Fran, please post your recipe.  It is possible that the lady that brought the cookies added nuts to a recipe that did not originally call for them.  (I have done that many times.)

Renee, have you made or tried either of these?  If so what one did you prefer? I may end up making 2 batches.  Would like to avoid that if at all possible. I know Grape Nuts are "healthy" but 2 batches of cookies is a bit much.

Nikki, The recipe that Renee C posted with the dried cranberries is the one I cut off the box of cereal. I usually have grape nuts in the house, but I got a deal on Cascadian Farm organic cereal & have a box of French vanilla almond granola & dark cho. almond granola to eat before I buy another box (I am the only one who eats the stuff & I gave up a few things for Lent, so I have not opened the cereal yet), I sure hope I like the cereal, it was a new item in the store, was on sale & I had 2 coupons plus I got free milk with the purchase of 2 boxes(I could not pass that up Laughing)

Renee and Fran, I was leaning towards making the cookie recipe that had the dried cranberries so I will make that one first.
Thank you both. I will report back on the outcome.
