I fill bread bowls w/ broccoli & cheese soup; or black bean soup or chili. After the filing i has been eaten ; guests enjoy tearing the bowl into chunks & devouring it.I'vemade my own ( bread bowls) in oven proof mxing bowls & requested the "instore" bakery to make them...It took 2 years, of asking & they now, finally sell hem @ a 2fer price of$1; making it easier & affordable to serve them.

In Response to Re: LAYERED TACO DIP : Hi Gale... You are right and do you know, I probably collect more recipes for appetizers than anything else. Because it's great for when you have company over, holiday's, watch a movie, picnics, etc. It's versatile!! I have a recipe for a dip that you put in a bread bowl, now that is a hit too! By the way, have fun at your soup get together...sounds like fun!! ;')
