If not using to eat on, living room table has Halloween decorated tree (about foot high w/ornaments), different decorations, black tablecloth that looks like a spider web. The dining room table is harder because we use that & my boys don't keep anything where it should. Black tablecloth with small decorations, a tall candleabra in the center - I switch...either a lit one (at night) or the one w/a plate that I balance fruit on. Halloween placemats, orange plasticware, alternating black/orange cups/plates. If I use large black plates for the meal, dessert is orange-all paper goods. Night before & day of Halloween are the busiest in my house so supper is pizza (eating early) before/during trick or treaters.
Halloween night, I have several large bowls on the dining room table for easy access when trick or treaters come AND to keep an eye on the rest of my house not to indulge before the night's over - they can eat AFTER trick or treating's over
