This afternoon I had to grate and juice 6 limes.  I used the Microplane  grater that the good people on this forum suggested I buy.  Thanks!  It's such a handy gadget. What little

I suppose none of us would get very far in the kitchen if we did not have a stove/oven.......Most of the rest of the stuff could be done using a bowl and a wooden spoon, wire whisk and a spatula.

LOL -- I recently bought a wire whisk because of the way it's been talked about on this site ........... I've never used it and now I'm not certain where it is!

If you consider a microwave a tool, then that's the one thing I can't live without. In fact, after the 1994 earthquake, my kitchen was totally destroyed. What's the first thing I replaced? Yep, my microwave! I do everything in the microwave, except bake chocolate chip cookies. lol

A microwave is a precious thing ........ I do wish they were self cleaning.

Bakery - I did go searching for that whisk awhile ago.  No luck - but I did find a missing plastic spoon holder that is great to have around when I'm cooking something sticky for a long time.  I haven't seen that in months.

Wow, Renee --- I've never seen one of those - very impressive.  You have the best tools --- where do you shop? But, I don't "use" apples.....

This is a hard one to answer as I have a few.If it came down to one I would have to say my very sharp knife I bought at an Asian store. This was very inexpensive and I perfer it to my more expensive knives.
