Wow did you all hit a real memory for me. My Mom would make a cream cheese and olive spread, green olives and walnuts chopped up and mixed in with cream cheese. They were ok as long as I didn't get too many olives, as a kid I did not like the green olives all that much. She also made a cream cheese and jelly sandwich, what's not to like about that? Now for the real "kicker" she would make an omelette and fill it with jelly. She made this for herself I don't recall anyone else eating one. I couldn't get past the color that resulted..the purple of the jelly mixing with the yellow of the eggs it resulted in a sort of odd green color in places.
