Boil the water, salt and vinegar in a large pot. Remove from the heat. Add the spices and the cukes. Place a plate or weight atop the cukes to keep them submerged. Allow to sit overnight (about 8 hours). Ready to eat. Keep refrigerated.
You're very welcome. My grandmother used to make these when I was a child, then Mom carried on the tradition. It's passed down to me but never written down. I should probably write it out for my son since he and his daughter are "pickle fiends". My son even has pickle ornaments for his Christmas tree lol!I just noticed what I missed in the recipe.....salt. Personally I don't put a lot in(just a little dash) but you can make them as salty as you want.
