In Response to Re: fall apple baking:
Here's something a little different that I found on SparkPeople.com. WINTER CRISP 1/1 cup white sugar 3 tablespoons white flour 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated 3/4 teaspoon lemon juice 5 cups apples, unpeeled and sliced 1 cup cranberries __________ Topping __________ 2/3 cup rolled oats 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup wheat flour 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 tablespoon melted margarine In medium bowl combine sugar, flour and lemon peel, mix well. Add other ingredients, stir to mix. Spoon into 6 cup baking dish. Mix dry ingredients for topping, add melted margarine and mix well. Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake at 375F for 40-50 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Hi H.M.Thanks for sharing your recipe.I think you meant 1/2 cup white sugar? I'm going to make this this weekend and judging from other applecrisp recipes I would think it is 1/2 cup.If you see this post let me know if not I'm using 1/2 cup Thanks. This looks real good
