DO YOU EAT BREAKFAST EVERY DAY?

I was taught that breakfast is THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY" It is called breakfast becauseyou have( in theory) not eaten all niight& breakfast isthe time to break yfour "fast"
It gets nourishment to your brain, allowing you to think better.
It gets your metabolism functioning, effectively    & most obviously getsyour muscles & all body parts functioning eficiently.
Many people think they are "too busy" to eat breakfast
Others skip breakfast in order to " lose weight".
Some people, don't like eating a breakfast thinking of soggy cold cereal; "yucky/slimy " eggs & other typical Aamerican breakfast foods.
Knowing what we now do about 0the importance of starting the day off w/ a good healthy balanced meal; we should give thought to our avoidance of "the most impotrtant meal of the day"
People who skip breakfast to lose weight, slow down theirmwtabolism (resultingin less effecient calorie burning) and usually get to feeling sluggish & starving by mid morning..They 'need" strong coffee & lots of it"
Aongw/ that coffeee, They have sweet rolls; candy bars, huge muffins or bagels taking in many more calories than the sensible breakfast they chose not to eat.
  People who thinktheyare in too much of a  hurry to eat breakfast, are less efficient since their brains & bodies( muscles) are in need of nourishment to be at their best productivity.
A quick sensible breakfast of fresh fruit; yogurt and/or a whole grain cereal( bagel; toast) can focus on the tasks at hand & actually get more done in less time.
They also do not NEED to take a"coffee break" to get through the morning. The time not spent breaking for coffee & ? can be spent actually getting things done.
Artifically getting" energy" usually means a poor night' s sleep that night due to caffeine jitters
Do you eat breakfast daily? WHAT DO YOU EAT?????????????????????Ifnot, WHY NOT????????????????Do you feel a(n) difference improvement in yourself   over the days you "skip" breakfast??????????? Is it worth it (to you)   to take the time  to eat breakfast?
If you eat breakfast; What do you eat for breakfast???

If you don'teat breakfast,WHY NOT???

I always have something for breakfast even if it is just a glass of chocolate milk (love my Nesquik in the morning) and have either fruit, pancakes or waffles. I try not to eat too much though.

My husband "cooks" breakfast every day, and as a result we have a routine of what we eat. Monday and Thursday are cereal days ( usually Special K) Tuesday and Friday are fried egg days ( in a nonstick skillet with Pam) I have a piece of toast, and he has a blueberry muffin. Wednesday and Saturday are Egg Beater days with toasted English Muffins. Sunday he makes pancakes, waffles, or French toast. Every day we have a selection of fruit with the main dish. We usually have fresh pineapple, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. When in season we will have melon too. Our portions are not large, so it keeps us on an even keel. He drinks coffee and I just have water.

I never ate breakfast.....that was my life BWL that's Before Weight Loss.
I learned while I was losing weight that I was better off if I had a high fiber breakfast. Oatmeal, a smoothie with fruits and added fiber, dry cereal anything that would keep me from feeling like I was starving.
A light lunch again higher fiber if possible, or a moderate lunch and a light dinner is even better.

My Grandma always said that one should "Eat breakfast like a king, eat lunch like a prince, and Dinner like a pauper." I now realize the wisdom of that saying. Took almost 40 years but I get it!

I don't eat much when I am home,but when on vacation or
at National Bowling tournments we always stay at motels
that offer free breakfast and we always eat there.

I always eat breakfast. I need some energy in the mornings. When I have a free morning, I like to go someplace and linger over breakfast with the newspaper or good company. I won't go to the effort to make waffles or pancakes at home, but I like them too.

I eat breakfast every morning but it varies from day to day,most mornings I have oatmeal or a cold cereal and fruit and on the weekends when the guys are home I'll make a big beakfast for them.

We always have breakfast. It doesn't matter what time we get up, it is time to eat. That's why when I was scheduled for hip surgery, I asked to be the second one of the day. That meant I didn't have to be at the hospital at 0 dark 40, but it meant I wouldn't have to go too long without eating. Had I been scheduled the last one, I would have had a headache and felt terrible.
We have oatmeal with fruit (usually dried cranberries) and on Saturday I make waffles. Usually we go to quick cereal when summer comes and I like spoon size shredded wheat to which I add fruit. I don't like sweet cereal.

Judy, the term you used...0 dark 40 is a term my best friend uses. She lives in Maine, used to live in Connecticut. I now live in the Midwest (used to live in Connecticut) and that is a term I have used but no one around here is familiar with it. Are you from New England or someplace on the east coast?
