In Response to Re: DO YOU EAT BREAKFAST EVERY DAY?:
We always have breakfast. It doesn't matter what time we get up, it is time to eat. That's why when I was scheduled for hip surgery, I asked to be the second one of the day. That meant I didn't have to be at the hospital at 0 dark 40, but it meant I wouldn't have to go too long without eating. Had I been scheduled the last one, I would have had a headache and felt terrible. We have oatmeal with fruit (usually dried cranberries) and on Saturday I make waffles. Usually we go to quick cereal when summer comes and I like spoon size shredded wheat to which I add fruit. I don't like sweet cereal.

Judy, the term you used...0 dark 40 is a term my best friend uses. She lives in Maine, used to live in Connecticut. I now live in the Midwest (used to live in Connecticut) and that is a term I have used but no one around here is familiar with it. Are you from New England or someplace on the east coast?
