What I think is crazy is areas of the country that do not change so half the year it is easy to figure what time it is in Arizona or parts of Indiana the other times of the year I have to think about it......
Like I really need  to know what time it is in Indiana or Arizona!

In Response to Re: Daylight Savings Time:
in my opinion, it is too early for DST.  It is too cold to work outside in the late afternoon and it is dark in the morning, which I hate..  I wish they'd just leave it alone.

I agree, leave it alone. Do we really save energy by switching to DST? What you save by having more light in the evening by turning the lights on later gets added to the mornings. You have to leave the lights on longer in the morning because it doesn't get light outside until later.

It was a "short" night; but we did make it to Church on time!  Every year, there are a few who try to sneak in at the end of the Service.  Hope you all made it into the "newly early" day!

Arizona, and Hawaii, are the only two states that don't have DST.  Some of the territories do not have it either.   My husband started changing clocks at about 8PM last night.  We have a lot of clocks, and watches as well as clocks in the cars!!!  We didn't change smoke detector batteries as we just did it in the fall.  For those who have these hard wired, you should have battery backups in case you lose power.  It was hard to get up this morning!!!!
