Remember along with changing your clocks to also change the batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.

Thanks for the reminder.
Most of my clocks set themselves but I do have to check them.  Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms are hard wired so I don't have to change batteries.

Thanks for the reminder.  I really hate these forward and backward moves.  I know the idea behind it; but it still drives me up a wall!  One day, maybe they will go back to "real time".

in my opinion, it is too early for DST.  It is too cold to work outside in the late afternoon and it is dark in the morning, which I hate..  I wish they'd just leave it alone.

Thanks for the reminder Mary Ann.  I think it's too early to do this too.

I wish that the hours wouldn't change either! I prefer the winter hours. It's nice to be tucked in with a blanket on the sofa and watch a good movie.

I can't believe that DST is here.  Is it earlier this year?

I wish they would leave it on one time or the other.  Changing everything is so tedious.  Not only do I change my clocks, but also my wristwatches.

Vicki - My sentiments exactly!    I much prefer wrapping up in an afghan, a cozy sweater, etc.  I do not do well with heat and humidity, but I do much better with the cold.  We have the fluffiest, warmest comforter on our bed in the winter, and I love wrapping up in it and watching a good movie.

Not a fan of the time change in the least!  I wish the powers that be would eliminate it all together!

The history of daylight saving is tied to energy conservation. Switching to DST in the summer means more sunlight at night, which in turn means homes don't have to turn on lights as early.

According to the U.S. Government , that leads to energy and fuel savings.

if we were all farmers, ranchers, etc that might work out that way
but people who get up at the same time every day use the same amt of energy in the a.m. as they would in the p.m. , i think
