When you guys cut brownies do you use a plastic knife?  I read somewhere a long time ago to do just that.  It is amazing that the brownie
does not stick to the knife.  I keep a heavy plastic knife in my kitchen drawer for that purpose.

I read that somewhere as well.  I have never tried it so I can'e say if it works or not.  I usually do not have any trouble cutting brownies.  I do wait until they are cool.  I will refrigerate them until they are cold before I cut.  They do cut much neater and easier when cold.

Thanks Judy, I'll have to try that next time.  I always seem to have a messy knife when I cut brownies.  Even thought about using cookie cutters last time lol.

I read that somewhere too, but have never tried it.  Guess I haven't tried it because I haven't had any problem cutting them. I think  the secret is to be sure they are cool before cutting.

I have always used a plastic knife, and it works well even when the brownies are freshly cooled.

Yes, I cut mine with a plastic knife.  I let them cool a bit before I cut.
