I took cookies to the beautiful Easter dinner at church today.  Every woman tries hard to make "special" dishes and everything is so very good. And I was so happy to see how everyone reacted

I took cookies to the beautiful Easter dinner at church today. Every woman tries hard to make "special" dishes and everything is so very good.
And I was so happy to see how everyone reacted to the cookies.

Isn't it amazing to see what a treat cookies can be?

Maybe other people will tell how "valuable" a cookie can be .......................

Nancy, I'm sure that any cookies you make are absolutely delightful. I think the members of your church should be blessed to have you in the congregation!!!
I deliivered some regular chocolate chip cookies to my grandson last night after his performance in the musical "Grease" at his high school. He played " Eugene" ( the nerd) and was a riot to watch. I also know he had a great time doing it. Anyway he would rather have cookies than flowers.

Nancy, because the cookies you bake are made with love people can't help but enjoy your cookies.
I think every time we bake something we bake love into what ever it is we are making. For some reason cookies, cakes and most other things always taste better when someone else has done the baking. I don't know if that is because we don't have to do the clean up or not.

LOL LOL Verlee -- that's funny. Maybe a year or so ago I made some giant felt wall hangings for the Sunday School rooms. One of the teachers talked to her students about the hanging and its meaning. Then she said that they all had to remember to thank Ms. G. The room was absolutely silent and all the kids had blank faces. Teacher couldn't believe not one child knew who Ms G was. Suddenly one little boy screamed, "The cookie lady, you mean the cookie lady!!"
