In Response to Re: Chinese Fried Rice:
I always plan on making Fried Rice when I make pork. I make extra pork JUST to have enough for the fried rice. I have a request now from my Son in law to put extra eggs in it when I make it. My Grandaughter LOVES Fried Rice. My Grandson is not particularly fond of rice but will eat a plate full when I make it. Go figure! Maybe it's because I ask him to help me make it and kids always seem to eat what the help make. When I met my husband and I would make rice for the Fried Rice he always asked me to make extra rice for breakfast. Apparently his mom would put cold rice in a fry pan with some butter and break it up and start getting it hot and a little color on it then she would add cinnamon and sugar. Well I thought it sounded terrible but made it for him and I have become a convert. I like it a lot but it is not something I can make often....not a low calorie breakfast!
