Yikes -------- I love slaw and just could not wait to try this.  I went to the store to get cabbage and apples - I had everything else.
This stuff wasn't "bad", but I sure don't like it.   So, here I'm stuck with that BIG bowl of something I just don't want to eat.
And my neighbor who is happy to try anything isn't home tonight

I got their email the other day and I also plan on making this salad.
I have been eating one that I found at Costco and it is a mix of Brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli and a few other greens and there is a package of dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds that you add to the salad.  It is so good I think this slaw will be just as good.  And I also LOVE almonds.
