I just made 6 loafs of banana bread. One for for my new neighbor, one for a meeting tonight, one for my family, one for the freezer. I guess I will have to find a home for the other two if I don't cut into them. So what would you do with the extra ones?

MY SISTER MAKES THE BEST BANNA BREAD AND SHE ADDS WALNUTS TO THE MIX AND IT COMES OUT MOIST.

If they are full sized loafs I cut them up into oversized pieces, wrap them in plastic wrap and tin foil and pop them in the freezer. When my husband has a duty weekend I pull one out and send it with him for a homemade snack on base!

Got to share this one with all of you. You'll never guess that I forgot to add the sugar and all of the Breads tasted AWFUL. I guess I should stay off the phone when I'm in the middle of adding the ingredients. My husband had cut himself a large slice and with the first bite he looked at me ad said, "Honey did you taste the bread before you took it over to the neighbors?" I said, "No why?" He gave me a bite which I promptly spit out. So all my efforts went to the birds. They don't care if it has sugar or not and now hubby is worried about the bird dropping on the cars...What a mess....LOL Next time I plan on measuring out all the ingredients and have them on the counter so I don't forget the sugar!!

Elsa --- That's awful!! I call it awful because it reminds me of years ago when my sister was having some important guests. She asked me for my wonderful apricot coffee cake which, of course, I made for her.
I forgot the sugar.
