Share what's in your oven
   3 cups brown sugar,1 cup of oil,4 eggs beaten, 2 cups mashed bananas 5-6 bananas, 3/4 cup sourcream,3 1/2 cups of flour,2 teas.baking soda, 1 1/2 teas.salt , 2 teas. cinnamon, 2 TBLS.ora

   3 cups brown sugar,1 cup of oil,4 eggs beaten, 2 cups mashed bananas 5-6 bananas, 3/4 cup sourcream,3 1/2 cups of flour,2 teas.baking soda, 1 1/2 teas.salt , 2 teas. cinnamon, 2 TBLS.orange juice, 3/4 cup chopped walnuts.Mix together all dry ingedients and add to all wet ingredients.Grease and flour 2 loaf pans ,divide batter between the two pans and bake  @350* for 1 hour or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean.

A trick I use is to add wheat germ for fiber to my banana bread recipe.  Mine is different than yours,

Thanks Gale ... You know how much I appreciate a new recipe calling for SUGAR!  
This one sounds good.  I've never seen a banana bread recipe calling for orange juice.

Yes, Gale -- I snoop around Splenda's site and I have their reg. and brown sugar in my cupboard.  (I'm thinking of just giving up on that little cupboard and having shelves installed in the living room - lol)
I've tried several of their recipes -- the ones suitable for diabetics, not for weight watching people.
And I know so very little about that, it's hard for me to do.

 MY SISTER MAKE THE BEST BANA BREAD AND IT IS NICE AND MOISTED AND NOT DRIED OUT .

Banana Bread is a favorite breakfast of mine.As a treat to myself.
I love a few slices toasted with peanut butter on them.  Gotta spread the peanut butter as soon as the slices come out of the toaster so the peanut butter melts and gets all runny and yummy.  Nutella is also very good on toasted banana bread.  Again as soon as the slices come out the Nutella melts and you have a chocolaty-nutty banana bread.

Thanks for the recipe Gale.  It sounds great but will have to wait until I get some more bananas,  my husband seems to have eaten all the ones I bought lol.

I often make a Streusel topping for my banana bread.  A mixture of butter, nuts, brown sugar and a little bit of flour.  Sprinkled over the top before baking makes a great topping.  Hides some of the cracks that are inevitable with a quick bread.

Thank you so much for the recipe.  I've never seen or tried a banana recipe with Orange Juice. Sounds interesting.  I will have to try it.  Thanks again.
