Welcome to VBB these look so good.
I just took a Chocolate Banana cake out of the oven, had to use some over ripe bananas.  I still have 3 and I will be making a Banana Cranberry loaf soon.
But the Apple Cinnamon bars are next on the to do list.  I am going to a friends house and would love to take them.  Would you be so kind as to share the recipe?

Ok I could not wait so I went to your site and copied the recipe. WOW this is for sure going to be made!
Question for you could I double the recipe and make it in a 13X9 pan?

For everyone else here is the recipe.
Apple Cinnamon Bars.
Topping:
4 Apples, (peel and slice thin)
3 Tb granulated sugar
2 Tb brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 Tb cornstarch
2 Tb lemon juice
4 Tb fruit jam
Base:
1 Tb sugar
1 Tb brown sugar
1 1/3 Cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 Cup butter, softened
Streusel Topping:
1/2 Cup flour
3 Tb brown sugar
4 Tb butter
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line 8X8 pan with parchment paper
Place peeled and sliced apples in saucepan with sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon cook 5 to 7 minutes until crisp tender.
Combine cornstarch and lemon juice, stir until smooth.  Add to apple mixture and cook until thick.  Add jam. Cool.
In a bowl whisk flour, sugar, salt together.  Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press into pan.  Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
Spread apple mixture over the top.
In a bowl combine flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly.  Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.

Gale, I hope I wrote all the instructions fully.  I did not print the recipe as I should have I just sort of scribbled it down.
I have a question for you since Sara has not answered.  What is you opinion about doing this in a 13X9 doubling the recipe.  The bake time might be a little different due to the thickness.  But after reading the steps I would hate to only make a 9X9 pan of these.
Also I was a bit confused as to the need of a fruit jam unless it might be for the added pectin to thicken the filling. As to the type of jam I am thinking apricot would taste pretty good I don't have much use for apple jelly so I didn't want to buy it just for this, then again if I am doubling the recipe that would be almost 1/2 Cup of jam so maybe a full jar would almost be needed.
