Well Gale -- I've already made a batch of these treats. I just now put them in the fridge to cool and get solid. I wanted individual pieces instead of 9x13 batch to cut and serve. I used two 24 serving mini-cupcake pans. The recipe for the treats and the icing fit perfectly so I'll have 48 pieces ........ well, 47 --- I'm tasting one as soon as they're set.
Energy Snack MixMix together 1 cup of each: Peanuts, Almonds, Raisins, Dried Cranberries, Dark Chocolate ChipsStore in a tightly covered container. Enjoy!
At a dinner at church last night some talented woman had spread lots of big sugar cookies with a cream cheese icing. Then she had covered it with cut strawberries, green grapes, cantelope - all sort of fruit. They were beautiful and delicious.Another had apparently spread lots of melted chocolate in a thin, flat layer on something - foil? waxed paper? Then a bunch of small peanut putter cups were placed upside down on a tray. The chocolate was cut into careful little squares to place over each peanut butter cut. Then red icing made a bit of cord on top ...... a graduation mortal board!!
