Knox gelatine NO BAKE CHEESE CAKE I envelope knox gelatine 2 - 8 oz. cream cheese 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup boiling water 1 teas. vanilla 1 - 9" prepared graham cracker crust In a bowl dissolve sugar and gelatine in one cup boiling water,I use a whisk to stir,about 5 min or until sugar and gelatine are completely dissolved In another bowl beat cream cheese and vanilla until softened,slowly beat in gelatin mixture until completely mixed well,pour into prepared crust and chill for 4 or more hrs. I always make two of these because my family really enjoys them just double the ingredients and pour into two prepared pie crusts.I top the cheese cakes with either cherry or blueberry pie filling,one can is plenty for two cheese cakes.I love this recipe because you don't have to heat up the house with the oven.

Gale, how is the "cheesecake taste" of this recipe? hubby only wants "real" cheesecake, but I have everything to make this & would like to try it, but I do not want to eat it all myself .
