Amazing cookie hit

A few weeks ago, on a whim, I bought a bag of Andes Peppermint Crunch baking chips. Yesterday I used them in my usual Nestles chocolate chip recipe. A really great cookie!! Of course, I didn't use any chocolate chips or nuts -- just the peppermint crunch.
And it made a very attractive cookie.

Since I don't have a recipe for that I reprinted the chocolate chip recipe with the new addition added. My favorite recipes get big red MagicMarker stars.

I'm wondering what a mixture of the peppermint and chocolate would taste like.

I think that would taste great Nancy,just don't put a ton in.I made a mistake last year,I bought premade chocolate chip dough and added M&M's because my husband likes those and it was just too much chocolate if you can believe that.They burned,too high of a sugar content I think.I was trying to save time and ended up throwing out the cookies.

Fran - that sure sounds good!
It's so much fun to "play" with chips ...... unless, like Gale said, you use too much. She is correct!
I've done that too - way too many chips aren't good.
