How do we add pictures to our posts? Appreciate any help, do not know too much about computers.

Thank you gale -- I've never considered myself an artist ... I have no training or education.  I've just stumbled along my whole life .... I painted - mostly wildlife - until I discovered wood carving in, I think, 1987 -88, when I saw a woodcarving Santa book.  I fell in love and never looked back. A couple years later (before computers) I wrote 14 pages to the author and he phoned me! He phoned me ... laughing because my letter (and the made-up photo of myself ) were funny.  We talked every so often on the phone until the Internet happened.  We still exchange a constant stream of emails.   He continued writing books about wood carving and he asked me to write the foreword in one of them.   But, what I started to say .... in 2005 I started having dyslexia and other weird problems .... turns out I had a ~shudder~ brain tumor. That was removed Feb 14, 2006, but I haven't successfully carved since then.

Hi Nancy ,You are an artist.From what I see here ,you truly are.I'm sorry to hear of your illness.Can you still draw and paint? I've also been grounded,I have PVD,peripheral vascular disease,I lost my left leg below the knee and I'm fighting to keep my other leg.I've always loved to cook and bake.I had retrain myself to cook and bake from my wheelchair,my son helps me with the heavy stuff,so I don't get burned.I started canning a little bit making jelly this year,which I thought I would never be able to do,but with Matt's help I can still do a lot in the kitchen.I still can't do most of the things I used to do.I thank God for each and everyday.I know that you feel the same as I do.We are who we are and we deal with our problems the best that we can and we are grateful for what we still can do.God bless you Nancy.

Nancy and Gale, you both have such great attitudes and the stamina to keep going regardless! I'm sorry to hear of your health problems, but sounds like you've both been trusting God to get you through! There are so many folks who simply give up when something happens and that is so sad. I do enjoy both of you and reading your wonderful posts!

The emotional trauma involved in that brain tumor (oligodendroglioma grade ll) was a whole lot worse than the surgery.  Then I had to have second brain surgery May 2007. (bre@st surgery June 2006). My ex-husband could not bear dealing with such stuff ....
Rotten time
Dec 3, 2008 I just walked away.  Whew ....

Nancy ,You do good for so many people,you seem to love the kids at church and love baking for them.Some times things don't seem fair but God has other plans for us,another path to follow to lead us to where we should be.God bless you Nancy.

God HAS blessed me  ... sounds so dramatic but I'm pretty convinced God gave me that tumor to get my attention, straighten out my life (good grief, I quit smoking - 3 1/2 pks a day for 42 years) and learn to serve Him.

Yes, Nancy, Gale is right....I agree wholeheartedly with her! You're one wonderful lady with all you do for others!! I'm sorry to read about your problems and your heartbreak, but God is good and He will get us through anything. Wow! I'm so glad you beat the smoking habit, too! I know a lot of folks who have managed to kick it, but others who seem unable to. I just keep praying that they will see what it is doing to their bodies and their health and that they will have the will and stamina to quit for good!
Thanks for sharing your heart and soul with us! I really enjoy your posts and your wonderful pictures and works of art!!! You are one talented lady, that's for sure!!

And Debra...your photo is beautiful!! Hope to see more!
