Hi Debra, I agree....I thought there'd be a lot more photos here by now. I, for one, sure enjoy not only sharing mine, but seeing everyone else's! Hopefully, more people will start posting some soon!
In your last post here, I only got little icons that don't even show the picture and they aren't clickable either. There was one photobucket link and I did click on that but only one very tiny photo appeared and nothing more. Can you add them like you did the other time so we can see them? Thanks!! I love the photos of yours that I've seen thus far. Absolutely beautiful!!
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving Day today, too!!!

Oh Susan -- a talent in sewing!  How I've tried.  Two years ago I even bought a new sewing machine .... the tiny table-top Singer at WalMart ... I try.  I really try and it's just awful.  I can't do it.

Susan, thanks for the compliments! We all have different talents. I always wasn't so good at picture taking until I bought a digital camera a couple years ago. I practice with everything to learn how to take better pictures. It's fun! So you are good at baking and sewing...that's great! I used to sew a lot, but haven't much in years....except to mend, that is! LOL!! It's something I'd like to get doing again actually.
Nancy,  if you can learn to use a computer....you can sure learn to use a sewing machine! LOL!!!
Thanks, Ann, and what a beautiful picture you posted! The color is great!

Thank you gale -- I've never considered myself an artist ... I have no training or education.  I've just stumbled along my whole life .... I painted - mostly wildlife - until I discovered wood carving in, I think, 1987 -88, when I saw a woodcarving Santa book.  I fell in love and never looked back.
A couple years later (before computers) I wrote 14 pages to the author and he phoned me! He phoned me ... laughing because my letter (and the made-up photo of myself ) were funny.  We talked every so often on the phone until the Internet happened.  We still exchange a constant stream of emails.
He continued writing books about wood carving and he asked me to write the foreword in one of them.

But, what I started to say .... in 2005 I started having dyslexia and other weird problems .... turns out I had a ~shudder~ brain tumor.
That was removed Feb 14, 2006, but I haven't successfully carved since then.
