I know, Nancy! It's neat and colorful!! I was changing pages here and all of a sudden, shamrocks appeared!! LOL!! Why so quickly though.....yesterday was only Valentine's Day!!

VBB, I like the new background, but it is still the middle of Feb. You should have waited until March. Instead of putting this up, why not fix the site, I have been having trouble with the site semi-freezing up for over a week, it takes 90 to almost 180 sec. (I time it )for anything to change when I click on something, it does not matter if it is a post or recipe or just me trying to send a post.
I guess you think that if you put up new recipes for St Pat Day this early it might make up for not having the shared recipes up & running, WRONG.
I would rather wait to get the Easter background up (esp. since Easter is the end of April) in April & have you work on getting the bugs out.
Anyone agree with me about waiting for a new background & getting the site back to running the way it should?

We hear your concerns and want to address them. The site semi-freezing should be fixed (had to do with our messageboard software rebooting). Swapped recipes are back and you can find them in your Recipe Box (if you saved any) and also in search results when you look for new recipes. We are working to add a search field to view "just swapped recipes" so you don't have to dig through all of them to find just those from the community. Adding the Swapped Recipe search field is a change to the "foundation" of the site; the background is a quick change that doesn't take a lot of time...as easy as putting a new picture in a frame.

To VBB: Thank You for working to add a search field for the Swapped Recipes.
We used to be able to search for recipes by ingredient, much more detailed than is now possible will that come back as well?
Thanks for the hard work that has gone into what must have been a lot of long nights and hard work on your end.

I agree to liking the background but think it's a little early. If they didn't want Valentine's, a nice pink or purple background would've been fine for the rest of February

I'm okay with the St. Patrick's Day theme. Time goes so quickly that holiday will be here before you know it. It's also a good reminder (for me anyway) to start thinking about inviting people for the traditional meal and any preps that need to be done.
