Swapped recipes where can I find the swapped recipes

Where are the swapped recipes? How can I find them? Before all this change I could go to "swapped recipes" , enter my last name and find all the recipes that I posted. Is that possible now?

Where are the swapped recipes? How can I find them?

actually, I started asking in November and someone with VBB found a couple of my recipes and sent them to me in a post.
one of those recipes is in my box now but 2 aren't

i only have 3 recipes in my recipe box today.

even tho VBB sent me a nice letter explaining , apologizing, and telling me that my recipe box was back. Plus a VBB apron and several nice coupons.

Hello Nellie! You can still view the Swapped Recipes that you created. All of your submitted recipes are added directly into your recipe box. I hope this helps you.

that's not right------the only recipes in my box (3) are the ones i posted showing Belle as the first word-----

where are the others?

besides, most people are looking for other people's swapped recipes, or for a recipe for a certain thing they want to make such as cream puff

WHERE ON YOUR SCREEN CAN I CLICK TO GET TO SWAPPED RECIPES??? it's not on mine

This new thing is terrible-----you took away the capability to search your recipes easily as well as the swapped ones

how can i enter the words cream puff in your search engine to actually come up with a recipe for cream puffs

i tried several methods yesterday and spent about an hour looking thru the first 11 pages of MISCELLANIOUS RECIPES before i finally gave up

All the swapped recipes are intermixed with all the other recipes. According to one post I read they are working on a way to allow us to search for just swapped recipes. But for now as you go through the recipes you will see a note next to the recipe that it is a recipe that was submitted by a Very Best Baker.
keep fingers crossed for an easy transition to allow us to search for swapped ones. It would also be nice to search by category or by ingredient.
All the recipes that were in your recipe box should still be there unless the recipes were "made private" by the person who submitted the recipe. If that is the case you will not be able to access them.

I noticed that when I searched for a swapped recipe and accidentally found one that, the name of the contributor had been changed to "Community Classic". SO, on a whim, I went up to the search box in the recipes section and typed in "Community Classics (but, without the quotation marks).

HEY! It worked!! I got 355 recipes and most of them are swapped recipes. There will be a few still mixed in that are Nestle's recipes that include the words Classic or Community but, most of them are from VBB members. They are not in any order or catagory and you still have to search thru them but, there are 10 per page and that is about 36 pages. Hope some of you find the recipes you are looking for.

shoulda woulda coulda-------------------there are exactly 4 recipes in my recipe box (I added one yesterday)----------and we really shouldn't have to ' guess ' about how to look for any recipe or wade thru pages and pages .

i miss the ease of the old way, where you put in what you wanted to make and most of the recipes were for that product.

Wa-Ha K, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! it worked. Typed in Community Classics and up pops a good number of Swapped Recipes. A few regular ones as well but this should help to narrow the search. Now it would be nice to be able to search for a specific category.

I typed in Community Classics as suggested by WaHa K and then typed in Swedish Meatballs and got 3 Swapped recipes, don't know if any of these are what you are looking for but the three are:
Grammy's Swedish Meatballs
Swedish Meatballs
Quick and Easy Swedish Meatballs
(there was another recipe that was there but it was not a swapped recipe.)
Will continue the search for your Blue Plate Noodle Casserole.

Did another search and found a few noodle casseroles but could not find the Blue Plate Noodle Casserole. If it is a recipe that someone else submitted they may have chosen to mark it "private" if that is the case you will not have access to it. If it is one you submitted you might want to ask the question again and mark it with a "question" so someone can answer it.

i tried putting in community classics and found 64 recipes most of whioh were nestles recipes, but none were mine

they keep telling me that they are all back in my recipe box ............but i only have 4 recipes there......

I'm agreeing with everyone's frustration above. Nestle changed format supposedly to make it more user friendly and to add more helpful features. Instead they have created a nightmare that is not user friendly at all, hard to navigate, and did away with, in my opinion, their best feature: Swapped Recipes. The new site is not as personable. It seems there are some members on the new site now that were not on the old format.

On the old format there were a catagory called Swapped Recipes. I could go to Swapped Recipes and type in, let's say, Chicken Pot Pie, in the search box. Immediately all the Chicken Pot Pie recipes that had been shared by fellow members would pop up. I was looking for Cornbread Salad once. I typed it in and 14 Cornbread Salad recipes came up. All slightly different and put in order by star rating. Once I had tried a recipe, I could go in and rate the recipe by giving it 1 - 5 stars and leave a comment. This was greatly helpful. The member who had posted the recipe could also then go back in and post follow up comments.

This feature was WONDERFUL! If I was looking for something specific, which I also always am, I no longer went to my 100+ recipe books. I came to Very Best Baking and used the Swap Recipes or their company recipe search.

I find the fact that they somehow can't figure out how to generate a computer program for something they had before, a program that was preexisting ~ mind boggling.

Perhaps with many complaints they'll put forth more effort to return this feature.

But, isn't there an easier way to find swapped recipes? I found Fried Noodles quite by accident, it was listed under "Most Popular Content" way at the bottom of the page. Seems like there should be something for Swapped Recipes under the Recipes tab.

Even finding this Forum was a matter of Hit or Miss.

Jean M I do want to let you know we are working on getting the swapped recipes back like they were, thank you for being so patient with us. For now it might help if you type community classics into the search box and look for the recipes that have a brown circle instead of a photo. I hope that helps.
