My first response to this new site is that I HATE IT! We still have dial up and it's taking 3-5 minutes for each page to load. I've been sitting here for the past 40 minutes trying to find Swapped Recipes. Why isn't there a link on the main page? Please don't tell me they did away with it.

I think Swapped Recipes was their best feature. It was why I time after time kept coming back rather than going to other cooking sites. If I'm a visitor to this 'newer' formated site, and I don't know Swapped Recipes exist because it's been buried deep within the site, then I'm just going to think this is just another company sponsored food site, same-old-same-old, and go elsewhere.

If something is not broken you don't fix it. I don't see this as an improvement at all.

You're not the only one that's looking for swapped recipes!! I think this site has become a monster!! I have a very hard time finding anything. After what you said about dial up, I am glad that a month ago I couldn't stand it any longer, and I am now with cable. Sometimes, it's so fast that I can't keep up. Hopefully, someone who cares, will read these posts, and do something to set things right! If not, I'm afraid they will lose a lot of people!

Thank you for the response. Gives me hope yet on the new format. I'll stay on and keep an eye open for the Swapped Recipes to make the transfer. Glad to see Very Best Baking is on top of listening to your subscribers. I honestly believe Customer Service is what makes a company. Thanks.

How long is it going to take to get swapped back on? I had alot of them in my recipe box and I would like to bake something for this weekend. If I would of known you were going to take them off I would of printed them. Very unhappy with your new site, it takes forever to look for a recipe in my own recipe box. guess i will have to start using another site. I would like all my swapped recipes back that were in my box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too MISS swapped recipes. VBB has been my favorite baking/cooking site for a very long time. While I do love to try new recipes from Nestle,Libby,etc. I look forward to see what my fellow every day cooks have to offer. Maybe someone out there can help me. I had a recipe for Cajun Chicken and Rice in my recipe box. It is cooked in a crockpot. I was planning to make it for dinner tomorrow but I too don't have paper copies of my recipes. (Shame on you VBB for not warning us!) Can anyone help me out with this swapped recipe?

Come on - bring back swapped recipes. If you bring the back, change them for newer ones ever week or two. Many of us enjoyed them. Also, what about baking articles? Mary Ann S.

I also miss Swapped Recipes from our VBB friends. Maybe the recipes will be brought over to the new website soon. Will continue to watch for them.

I agree. Don't like that the Swapped Recipes are gone. Also, I always tell people, "Go to the Nestle website. They have recipes that travel well to send to the troops. They also tell you the best way to pack them." Now that is gone too!!!

Don't care for the new format. I agree that they shouldn't have fixed what wasn't broken.

Thank you for deciding to do it just right this time. I bet you are tired of all the complaints aren't you? The website is finally starting to take shape but, really, shouldn't the boss in charge of this project find another job somewhere else. Nestle's can't afford to develop this kind of reputation , ya think !!!

There are still way too many issues with this site. I still get booted off regularly, get error messages, etc. And those stars that are beside what is supposed to be new posts, DON'T WORK!! I click on one and it says it will take me to the newest unread post but, it takes me to the top of the page no matter how old those posts are. And when I back out to go to another post, most of the time, the star stays there. When it does disappear, it frequently pops right back up.
It is frustrating to have to go thru topic after topic an then open each post to just see if it has been read. Why not fix that too?

And I am so frustrated and tired of waiting for swapped recipes. Also, we need our user names back. I finally managed to update my name/address but, it is still using my real name. I want that stopped asap.

I was hoping the swapped recipes were back - I was so disappointed when it appears that they aren't back yet.

holiday season is here and I feel the timing on the "upgrade" was not planned with that in mind.

I don't come here every day or two anymore because it's too frustrating trying to get into the site and trying to find things. I can't even tell if I'm getting "credit" on my points anymore either. for example: today showed 30270 to begin with and now my points show 30650... how?

are we going to get our user names back? I don't like having to use my email EVERY time I log in.
