( 'cuz hubby likedthe seasonal weather changes & greater intelectulal stimulation offered here. The people in Boise were " the salt of the earth" ; good honest hard working thoughtful, kind people. Imis that environment. But" witherthou goest so goest I "asI've donefor the 48 yearsofourmarriage; except during theVIetnam Era when I was not cleared to go over to southeast Asia & truthfully was just as happy to remain stateside w/our two sons.
For alongtime, we bothdesiredto go backto NYC; but nolonger want to.We missthe great museums & comfort foods of our childhoods; but not the
overcrowded; often fearful atmosphere, there.Thesedays manyof thefodsareno availabehere& thepeople, thoughnot overly friendly are stil more inclined to be so

I was born near a tiny, tiny town in very rural eastern Missouri .... raised near an even smaller town there. Now I live in a bigger small town still in rural eastern Missouri. There was a 24 year military period where I moved from California to North Dakota, back to California, back to North Dakota. 24 years of moving back and forth .... There was a 3 year stay in Omaha and a 15 month stay at a base here in Missouri. I LOVED North Dakota.
