Much to my despair, I have found that our Costco is no longer carrying the 72 oz packages of Nestle Semi sweet Chocolate Chips. Instead they have substituted a 56 oz package of "Kirkland" Chocolate Chips. After a blind taste test, my husband declared that he prefers the Nestle chips. I do too. I am particularly sad as I make cookies to send to my two grandsons at their colleges. They get a new care package about once a month. With the 72 oz package, I never worried about having enough chips.I am curious about the amount of cacao in the Nestle chips. The "Kirkland" chips claim 51%, but I could not find a number on the package for Nestle. Is there any chance that your sales department can talk Costco into abandoning their own brand and bring back the Nestle?? I really miss them, and I'm not looking forward to having to go back and buy the smaller size bags of chips at the super market!!!
Big News!! I went to a different Costco today, and They had the large 72 oz bags of Nestle Chocolate Chips. Hooray!! I bought 2 bags!!!!
