lost points and new site

I dont like this new site its hard to find anything, I lost 20270 points, How are they going to give back everyones points, the right points?? Now Im showing I have 150 points, this is crazy..

Your points are not lost; we are working hard to get them all transferred to the new site.  Can you tell us what sections you're looking for?  We want to help you find them!

I see only 150 points on the top where my sign in name is, where do I look for my points to keep track of them??

Ronda:

Brownie Points aren't working correctly but we'll have this fixed ASAP.  The top right is where to look for your points; your correct total will be back soon!

I haven't been on the VBB site for months & don't even recognize it anymore.  I'm lost now & liked it better before; I guess it looks like it's trying too hard to be cool & looks like all the others.  1) All my points are gone.  2) When I tried to update my email address and change the password, I got an error message 12030 & it won't let me change my profile.  3) When I tried to use the Contact page to email VBB, it wouldn't let me send a messge because I didn't type in a UPC code and name of a product.  4) The contact phone numbers are all for specific products.  I don't want to ask about a product--Why isn't there just a way to ask a question about the SITE?  This is frustrating.  I don't like change just for the sake of change.  I liked it better the way it was before, don't really see that the changes have brought an improvement.

Unfortunately, swapped recipes had to come down for a while as we bring those recipes over to the new site. Those should be ready in a few weeks. Can we help with anything else?

I wasn't having trouble finding things, exactly.  It just looks totally unfamiliar & I liked it as it was; previously, it was easy to use & looked great.   Yesterday, I was simply trying to update my email address & when I couldn't do that because of an error message blocking it, I tried to contact someone & couldn't find a way to do that either--the contact form kept asking what was the UPC code of the product, and I wasn't inquiring about a product!  Finally, I accidentally came to this blog & saw other questions related to it.  I didn't really ask about the swapped recipes but am glad they will be back.  Thanks.

ALSO, just to let you know, when I pressed "Submit" to reply to your answer to me, this message came up:
"We are sorry, an unexpected error occurred."  I think this new site revision is having a lot of glitches.

I sure hope so.  Thank you for understanding. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so critical.  This used to be one of my favorite sites & recommended it to everyone, but it just seems somewhat confusing now.  I'll still use it because of the recipes & my recipe box, but I did like it better before all these changes. Just seems strange somehow.  Thanks.

This is weird, I had 58585 points new sit had me having 5, yesterday is was 995 and now today am showing 760. What is happening? Will I ever get my old points back. Been coming here for years but now am really leary about new site. Will my points go down to 0 again and will I lose all my points from the first of the year? Please need help. Thank you, so sorry my mouse pointer jumps all over and have to keep correcting.

The Brownie Points system was not working during the transition to the new site but should now be showing your correct balance.  Have you signed out/back in?  If you're still not seeing your correct total in 24 hours, please let us know!  We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.
