What a great community to live with

No matter how I feel I can always sign on VBB and know the community tab will have article's posted to raise my spirits and keep me alive inside. This is the best community, and I have checked out a number of them, on the 'net. All over the country the commonality of baking and cooking shares an opening remark to start a conversation with some of the most talented and caring individuals in the world. If the politicians would start baking on their own they would realize how dysfunctional they are now but could improve cooperation and sharing with the rest of the "normal" nation.

John, There's not much more I can say......you said it all. VBB is a great community and I look forward to visiting each day.....wish I could spend more time here, but I spend enough as it is! The friendship and fellowship is great, the recipes are fabulous! I can always count on some people here (Nancy, you know who I mean) to give me a smile, even if I am down that day. And reading how people are helping one another (like Julie...and Preston with his friend) makes your heart glad. There are so many good people in this world....and I truly think we have a lot of them on VBB!!

Thanks John - I certainly aqgree.  VBB is the very first place I visit every morning and the last place at night .... lots of times in between.

Wouldn't it be great to get all the VBB family together for a big reunion?! That would be such fun!!! Of course....we would also have to invite everyone's pets, so it would be an interesting time for sure!! Wink

Nancy, I have asked VBB this before with no luck so, I will ask you. Which message boards were you and several of the others on before they redid them? Were you on the Chocolatiers Board? I ask because I don't recognize hardly anyone on here at all. We have talked for years on the boards I was on about trying to get together and some of us had actually met others.

The boards I was on had user names and some of them were Tyger, Daisy Mae, TMB, Sharon, Onehotnana, Montysmom, SuzieSew, RottysGirl, Drizzle, GranA, etc. to name a few. Are any of those familiar to you?

I went into My VBB and clicked on the change address choice and removed my real name and put my user name from the other boards on it and it finally showed up as WaHa. I was hoping I would be able to connect with some of those I have chatted and interacted with for the past 5 years. It seems like more than one message board was converted into this new one.

NANCY; I agree;  the return of private messaging would be a great asset to US ALL . I asked & wastold, should be retuning along w/ " SHARED RECIPES" we shall see what we shall see
WhatI most liked about PM's; was the notiicatin tattherewasa PMfor me; so I never missed one

Wa-Ha  K   - I was a very inactive member of the old Toll House board  (my name was Nancy "something" - I can't remember) .
I've never even heard of  the Chocolatiers Board or anything like it.  Where is it?
I'm currently an inactive member of the Duncan Hines board, and use HGTV.
Otherwise I use two woodcarving boards and a couple neuro boards.

Hi WaHa, I like the idea of using our old names somewhere visible since I, also, remember many of the folks by the names used previous to this upgrade at VBB.

John:  I agree with you that it is a great community to live with.  So many fine people, caring and just wonderful.  Enjoy coming on every day.  Don't get to spend too much time, but the time I do, I really enjoy.  Wish I could be on longer.
