I would still like to know about the swapped recipes. Not the ones in my recipe box but, the hundreds and hundreds that were posted in the recipe section on the old site. I still can't find them. We should be able to type in "swapped recipes" or "user recipes" and have only them come up but, it doesn't work. And, going thru every recipe on here is too time consuming.  So, what do we do?

Wa-Ha:

We are listening to your feedback and looking for a way to let users search through Swapped Recipes only.  Thanks for sharing your question.

I was very excited to buy a large number of Libby's Pumpkin  on clearance after the holidays.  We don't love pumpkin pie so much, but all other things baked with pumpkin are wonderful!  (Pumpkin bread -- plain, with raisins, with apples, with cranberries, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, etc.)  However, when I got ready to bake, I realized the joke was on me!  I didn't buy 100% Pumpkin; I bought Libby's Pumpkin Pie Mix!  Is there a way to still use this in my baked goods, by decreasing the amounts of sugar and spices?  Thanks so much for your help!

Hi VBB ~  Please check your excellent recipe for Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies ... really good cookies! The recipe says it produces two dozen (24) cookies. When I made them the first time I wondered about a recipe calling for three cups of flour but producing only 2 doz cookies. I did not count the cookies I ended up with but it sure was more than 24. I made the recipe again today and counted 58 "normal" size cookies. Maybe the final amount should be changed? TIA

Nancy:

So sorry for the delay in our reply...the recipe should actually read 5 dozen cookies!  Your 58 cookies are just right.  We are changing the recipe details...thanks for keeping us honest!

VBB -- Those cookies - all 58 of them - Wink -  made a giant hit with the kids at church.  They're the reason I make so many cookies and it's wonderful to find a new treat for them.
Thanks

I just got an email that Swapped Recipes are back.  How do I find them?  I know there have been some in my recipe box but how do I peruse all the previous Swapped Recipes or add new ones?

Nikki:

Right now they appear in search results as "VBB Baker Recipe" along with official Nestle recipes.  We are working to incorporate a button on the Recipe Finder so that you can select "search recipes from the community only".  Hope this helps with your search!

Thank you.  And a "button" on the recipe finder will be a great help.
Now for another question, is there a way to "edit" a recipe that I submitted a while ago?  I realized there is an error and want to correct it.  But when I click on edit nothing happens.

Try right click and open in a new tab. Sometimes it works just as when the page is done but with errors.

I am having to sign in again every time I come on here. What is going on again? Also, still having trouble getting out of a discussion if I post anything. I shouldn't have to go to the top and click on forums and then back into the forum I was in just to get out of a discussion. Any idea when this will be fixed?

Here we go again. Yesterday, I had over 64,000 brownie points. Today I have less than 54,000 points. Where did they go? Also, there used to be a prize at year end  for brownie points and then they reset on Jan 1. What is going on with brownie points now?

Mary Lynn:

We are looking for your input on our Brownie Point program and you'll see an official survey on the site soon.  The software that calculates Brownie Points continues to be an issue and is something we want to hear more about in the survey we are putting on the site; stay tuned!

We have periodic service interruptions with our site and are working through those.  Did you get this message multiple times over multiple days or multiple times in one day?
