(not bags, just chips. that would still be a lot of chips!)

I do apologize if this causes any inconvenience for you and I do hope that you will stayed tuned for exciting new promotions and wonderful changes to our Brownie Points program. These changes will be coming sometime this year!

No worries here...far to many other things in life to worry about.  It is by no means an inconvenience.  I just wish my bank account would build as rapidly as my Brownie Points.  Having far to much fun on this site with "my friends" to be concerned about the points.  Before the "change" I never posted  so to have any points at all is something new for me.  Can't wait to see what happens next!  Sure would like to trade a few hundred points for some of the dark chips though.  They apparently are as elusive as the Easter Bunny, just wondering if they also are a figment of the imagination.......

Hi! I tried to post a recipe in the Swapped recipe section last night & it disappeared on me. I was just typing away as I looked up to check to see if I missed anything then I went to finish it disappeared right in front of my eyes.

Nikki, I am so happy you are looking for our new Dark Chocolate Morsels. They are currently shipping out to retailers nationwide and may take a few months to gain wide distribution. If you still do not see them on your local store shelves, I encourage you to ask the store manager of your local store if they are able to order them. However, I do hope that you are able to locate them soon and that you will try some of your favorite Very Best Baking recipes with them!

hee hee - This afternoon I bought some more dark chocolate morsels at the WalMart in the neighboring town .... they had them "on sale" for $2.29
............................
I have not been able to get into this site all afternoon .... it is too slow to work.   It's taken me about 8 or 9 minutes to get here this evening.
All the rest of the sites I visit have been quite normal, quite fast.  Is it just me, my area, or is everyone having problems?

Imagine my surprise today.  When I got to the site my points had mysteriously gone from almost 90,000 back to 36,000.  What is going on now?

Hi H. M., that is a great question! VBB actually runs off of several different servers.  When your points disappear that just means you are hitting a different server at that time. Be assured that your points will return. We are working on correcting this and hope to have this fixed soon!

I would love to know why all of a sudden I have to sign in each and every time I visit the site, even though I checked the "keep me signed in" box. Every time, I have to look up the password you supplied me with after not being able to login for 3 weeks, because it is not memorable, just a jumble of letters and numbers. I have just stopped visiting because of the hassle

I have a box of blueberry muffins but, I would like to make them into cupcakes with buttercream frosting.
My question, Is there a way to add ingrediants and/or change the order in which I put them together to make them lighter and more cake like?
In addition to the dry ingrediants in the box it calls for: 3/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, and 2 eggs.

Ana, try the live chat that is offered.  I think when you first get to the site there is a place on the right hand of the page where is says Live Chat.  They are very helpful.
My guess, and that is all it would be I would use butter rather than oil and beat it with the eggs and milk to make it lighter then add the dry ingredients and mix in.
By the way welcome to a great site.

Has there been any updates as to what the Brownie Points are going to be used for? 

It would be great to exchange them for coupons for free product, prizes, cookbooks...just to give a few suggestions. 

Also, here is an idea for this web site; what about having "Member of the Month"?  The member that gets chosen is one that offers recipes, tips, active on the web site, long time member, etc.   The member that gets chosen would get there name listed as VBB "Member of the Month" and maybe even a coupon for free bag of choc. chips (just to give and idea) or a Nestle cookbook would be nice. It would add a little excitement and savings for the members!

Thank you for the consideration of this idea; I hope I get some feedback on it and the update on the Brownie Points.

Hi Ana v,  I'm sorry but that is not something we have ever tested in our kitchens here at Nestlé.  It does sound good though.  Let us know if you get it to work as a cake, I'd love to hear how it turns out for you.

it may be too late now, as you've probably made the muffin/cupcakes already.  i think I would add more sugar as cake always has more sugar than muffins.
