I haven't tried it but I think it would work.  You may need to put more powdered sugar on it once it thaws.

The filling can make them soggy when they thaw. There is some tips and instructions for freezing them at http://www.ehow.com/how_5152358_freeze-pumpkin-roll.html

Why would you wish to freeze pumpkin rolls? They are not that difficult to make and bread and cakes have a short time in the freezer before they taste stale. Have you had a different experience?

I would think that the freezing would alter the texture of the cream cheese in the filling.  I would guess if you used a regular butter cream frosting as the filling it would be ok.  But one of the best things about the pumpkin roll is the filling.Laughing

I agree with Nikki about the texture of the cream cheee in the filling.  I don't think I would freeze them.  I've never frozen them.

I've known people to freeze them to save them for the holidays. After they came out of the freezer they tasted fine. I would vacuum seal them after they were solid,  just to protect them from freezer burn. Just a suggestion.

Good luck!

I've never tried to freeze them.  They are never around long enough to have to.
