While we get the new site up and running, we wanted to make sure you knew how to earn Brownie Points.

You can currently accumulate Brownie Points for doing the following:

Logging into our website - 100

Submitting a recipe review - 50

Posting to the forum - 50

Starting a forum discussion - 50

We're aware that some people are experiencing issues with their Brownie Points, and we're working to restore them.

We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will continue to stay with us as we upgrade our site. Please feel free to chat with us again in the future. We always do our best to help our consumers!

Just because we have snazzy new technology doesn't mean we need to use it to render former ways obsolete. I'd like to see my daily point total and where to go to earn today.

Okay, we all know there are bugs to work out on anything new. Please note that the site says you get 100 points for logging in - the system gives you 5 points. And the daily limit is still 205. Did you Beta test this site before taking it up? I, too, am disappointed that there was no prior warning and sure hope my recipe box is intact. There are many things about the old site setup that we all love and you made this site more generic in the scheme of things, not special for us "super bakers".

We're sorry you're having problems with Brownie Points. We're trying to get all of your Brownie Points restored as soon as we can. You should get all of the promised points for logging in. We'll look into that problem today.

Looks like this new site is going to take some time to get used to. And I hope the problem with the Brownie Points is taken care of fairly quickly. Especially since I have a LOT more points then the current web site says I have. lol

Wow, this new site will definately take some getting used to. With that being said...thanks for caring about us bakers enough to keep things current and interesting. Once all the kinks are worked out and the changes have become more familiar I am sure we will all be back to normal. Looking forward to all the good things to come!

I checked out the new Thanksgiving info and for anyone who has cooked/baked for more than a year or two, it isn't very informative. What I read in all the articles I could find was basically for new cooks, new entertainers, etc. It is pretty much old hat for us who are the main cooks/hosts/hostess for events. We need new ideas, recipes, etc.
