In Response to dough question:
I'm baking cookies for my class this week, and thought about using the refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough instead of making from scratch due to time and messy kitchen issues. I have a student with severe peanut allergies. Does the preapackaged dough have peanuts, peanut byproducts or peanut oil in it? Thanks...

I am very sorry for the wait on getting back to you regarding our Refrigerated Cookie Dough and peanuts. Our Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is made on equipment that also processes peanuts and nuts. Labeling regulations require that the eight recognized major food allergens always be listed in the ingredient statement if they are in the product, regardless of the amount. We always list these food allergens by their common name. We recommend that you always check the label for the most current information before purchasing one of our products.
Factories that use an ingredient coming from one of these eight allergens take all needed precautions to avoid cross contact with products that do not normally contain these allergens. If a products that does not contain one of the known allergens, but is made on the same line as one that does and/or in the same facility with potential for cross contact, we will add an advisory statement at the end of the ingredient listing.
I hope you find this information helpful Paula!
