Even if it's lean ground beef? I buy 93% at Costco.

I try to get rid of as much fat (grease) as I can.  But does that wash away too much flavor?

SmileSorry I thought that this did not post also posted in healthy cooking and baking, where I wanted it to be.If your meat is 93% lean, there is 7% fat so you would get rid of another 3.5%.No the flavor is not effected by the rinsing, just season after rinsing, this is loose ground meat.I'm making macaroni and beef,I fry the loose ground meat rinse and rinse out pan return to pan and season, add tomato sauce and any seasoning that is used.I hope this answers your Questions.Smile
