It's a good thing I come here for the recipes and ideas as I log in and my points stay the same.  I post that I am not getting points and then the point total is brought up to date....and then after a few times of logging in, the points don't change again.

You should be getting 100 points for login. 50 points each time you post. I am getting my points but it takes awhile now. The old site put them on rigt away but this new site takes at least 4 hours andusually overnight. Good luck but IT is finally making progress. Long way to go though.

You may have noticed the Brownie Point program has not brought a lot of value to our VBBers over the past several months and we would like to correct that!  Can you share what your favorite parts of the old program were and what you'd like to see changed?

VBB, are  you sure you want to know our favorite parts of  the old boards? We have repeatedly told you in our posts only to be told that many of them are no longer available. Or you are working on it.

The one thing that really needed changed on the old site was the amount of time recently posted recipes and favorite recipes were left up. They changed about once every couple of months. You can't make me or others believe that recipes were only posted every couple of months. And the kitchen questions needed to be updated.

Other than that, the boards were perfect. This new site will never, ever be half as good as the old one. Too many new discussions that are the same thing makes going thru the boards a time consuming effort. Too many errors makes one want to throw their computers thru the nearest window. Trying to find a recipe is like trying to get thru government red tape. A time consuming/wasting effort that I no longer care to do. Using our names is a fatal mistake considering the amount of ID theft that is rampant. Most of us knew each other thru our user names and we need those back. Using UTube for the videos we depended on is also a slap in the face. It may be a popular site but, it is also a host for computer viruses.

Private messaging...where is it? I have a feeling we will be told it is not going to be available either. Get rid of the resourses page and add things we are asking for back. The format in the old boards was great. You could see at a glance what was new or posted on without having to open up multiple windows. And there are way, way, way too many topics that are repetitive. Especially in shared stories. You could have similated the old format and not given us the same one Kraft and other food sites that you host have. Have you taken a look at them? They are dying because of the same type of search and find problems that are on here. I have looked over several of the sites hosted by Pluck and wasn't impressed. They are copy cats of each other and not very original at all.

Did no one at Pluck even look thru the old message boards and site?? They should have been read, used and studied and then had a poll section set up for the users to vote on as to what should have been kept or deleted.  The take it or leave attitude we have been given has not been well received by the users. The nays on this site far out weigh the yeas! And it isn't a good thing. Many of us have been loyal to Nestle's for years and used the boards since they were introduced five years ago. I was one of them but, this is not a user friendly site any longer. Too many problems. If someone ran a deal or dud poll on the site now, it would definitely come out a dud.

You are going to have to do a lot of PR to get this back on track. People who do not  visit the site regularly will not buy the products regularly. They certainly will not know of any new products coming out. And, if you think I am being harsh, you are wrong. I am being truthful. I worked for years at a job that required me to gather facts and offer cost saving measures and streamlining for businesses. Some didn't like the finding and ended up losing their shirts. Others followed the outlines and survived. It is a dog eat dog world.

I would like the shared recipes back, also the old way of getting the points & the way they were posted. With all the products associated with Nestle, the points should be a way of getting "free" items ( coupon for free bag of cho. chips, free box of hot cho., free can of pumpkin etc).I would also like to print more coupons and have more coupons to choose from(limit 2 of each per week NOT per month). Reusable shopping bag with Nestle Logo, mixing spoons or cups, mixing bowls etc. are some ideas to give out free for points.
Anyone else agree with my thoughts?

My points are the same way.  I complainted and my points changed.  Then no more were being added for my logins.  The other day my points went down.  Now they went up but it is just back to what I had before they went down.  This sucks.

Fran M, I agree with you but, unfortunately, many of the old ways of obtaining points are no longer available.  If they do fix the coupon printing, I hope they allow us to print it in black & white and without all the excess hype that is usually on the page. It is expensive and a waste. I usually print at least 3 coupons on each piece of paper but the sites that add extra stuff that prints I do not mess with.

I really do not care for the points. Have no use for them at all but know that many do. How many of you have actually won something from them? I really would like to know the answer and when it was won just to satisfy my curiosity.

I have given up on the swapped recipes. I have been using other sites to get my recipes this year and have already started shopping for items I will need. I will not wait until the last minute to buy them due to the cost and hassle. Maybe someday they will be back and maybe this site will act right, log in right, add points right, the stars will be accurate, the time posts are made will be correct for each of our times and maybe pigs will fly.

I am beginning to agree with everyone's complaints now. Before this, I have stuck up for VBB all the way. Didn't worry about not staying signed in (I shut down my computer every night), was getting at least some points regularly, and firmly believed VBB would do the right thing and take care of its readers.  Hopefully I am not wrong and these things will eventually come to pass, but one would like to think that VBB would post a notice to its faithful followers and say they are in the midst of revamping its website and at the very least, apologize for brownie points not being regularly credited to our accounts like they should be. If VBB was really smart they would award all regular readers an award of at least a token amount of points to show their appreciation. I don't see, or cannot find anything like that here. I also can't seem to find several things I used to like about VBB anymore. It is a bit frustrating but I am a very positive minded person and I am assuming that VBB is working on the website and that is why it seems like all you do is go in circles when you do searches on the VBB portion of the website. I will give it some time before I start to make any major complaints

I'm still lost. The new wallpaper is the best thing about the "new" site.  I don't see any improvements. If anything it is more difficult to navigate.

I also continue to be frustrated with the new site.  I had thought the improvements would be made.  It is frustrating with the points not being added.  I did a survey prior to the new website.  After reading comments of other VBB fans the past couple of weeks, am wondering if anyone really read the survey responses from us.  I loved the swapped recipes, I loved seeing the brownie points add up and being able to enter contests, granted I never won anything but it was fun dreaming.  Perhaps VBB would consider the contests again, and at the end of every year offering calendars for a certain amount of points obtained.

How much time do you think they need? It has taken a month just to get the sign in fixed!! Shutting down your computer every night should not effect whether you are still signed in or not. The site uses your IP address to keep you signed in.

I still get knocked off/out of the site and even though I do not care about the points, I have noticed they go up and down worse than the price of gas. Too many things do not work and you can  only add so many patches before they begin to overlap and mess up other things. Even the recently uploaded recipes stayed for almost a month and two of them are still the same.
I would like to know what type of survey was given before this new site was put  up. All I saw was a notice on the old boards the week before they disappeared. I managed to get a few things saved but, not enough time to do all of my favorite recipes. I don't think I will get them back.

Well I still have all of the recipes I saved in my recipe box so that is still the same. I can still do a search for recipes, and find a recipe in several different ways, that seems to have improved. I should think shutting down my computer has a lot to do with cutting off the sign in connection with VBB. It is not like they are some big computer conglomerate like mocrosoft looking to search for my IP address. When I shut down my computer I disconnect my computer connection with them and therefore have to sign in again, I mean how hard is that anyway. That is fine with me. I was agreeing that the site has problems put the sign in thing should be the least of them in is not a very difficult thing to do for me and SINCE I do shut down I don't care anyway. The site has more pressing problems to take care of so maybe we should focus on those problems rather than the sign in one? Like not be able to navigate the site without being sent circles? Not be able to find the things we could find on the site before they revamp the site? Let's not get hung up on the sign-in thing and let VBB concentrate on that it is trivial compared to all the other things they should concentrate on THAT is the point I was trying to make. I don't think we should attack what each other is saying and keep to point VBB is the problem not the readers. All I am saying is I tend to give people (or in this case a company that I have believed in and bought products from for many years) the chance to prove themself and believe they are honest and will come through. I am just that type of positive person. There is a good chance VBB doesn't have the personnel to read through all of these posts to see all of these complaints. Let's face it in these economics times companies are downsized and these complaints are not at the top of the list of company priorities. We have to give the company time to get to it. You may think a month is enough time. I may not. We all may wish they had not changed the site in the first place, water under the bridge now my friend. We have to do with what we have and move on. This is life, we have to take what we've got and move on.

My points never change.  If you are going to change a site that worked before you should have had a test group before going live.  At least with a test group you would not have all the problems this site is encountering.

My points only change when I,too post that they are not adding points, BUT I too have had points removed and not returned. I log on every day and haven't seen my points go up in over 2 weeks, just going down!

Points are still not posting in a timely manner. Nothing on this site has been fixed since it changed. No matter how many people complain or how many times we complain, nothing changes. GOODBYE VERYBESTBAKING......This will be the last time I WASTE my time with this site.

I'm getting points but not sure if it is the right amount, it takes about a week for new points to show in my account.
