All-Purpose Baking Mix
It’s possible to bake cookies with all-purpose baking mix, but we do not recommend it. Baking mix gives the Original Nestlé® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookie a slightly salty, buttermilk tang and makes it a puffy cookie that cracks on the surface. If you do use all-purpose baking mix, follow these directions for the best results: Use 1 c. butter, softened; 2 c. packed brown sugar; 2 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla extract; 4 c. baking mix; 2 c. (12-oz. pkg.) Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels; 1 c. chopped nuts. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in baking mix, morsels and nuts. Bake in preheated 375° F. oven for 9 to 11 minutes.
